This duplex cottage has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed, and one with two queen beds. The great room offers spectacular views and a full kitchen, and there’s a spacious deck with a private hot tub. When it’s cold, enjoy the gas fireplace - and there’s AC for if you want to keep the curtains open on the massive windows facing the Pacific on a sunny day. Cape Cod Cottages are located directly on Big Stump Beach, with miles of sand in each direction. Waldport - a great location for crabbing and clamming - is just to the North. You can rent boats to try crabbing from Dock of the Bay or McKinley’s Oregon Coast Marina, and at low tide, you can go clamming in the mud near the bridge. The quant town of Yachats is a few miles to the South, with great restaurants, and a beautiful rocky coastline full of tidepools at low tide. The Newport Aquarium is 30 minutes to the North, and you can explore the Sand Dunes 45 minutes to the south by foot, rented ATV, or guided tour. Need space for family & friends? If are looking for comfy home with a stunning ocean view within walking distance of Yachats restaurants and shops, our house is for you! Watch the waves roll in, the sun set, the birds fly by, and occasionally whales and sea lions from our comfy home. Hunt for agates on the smelt sand beach and explore the tide pools just in front of the house, walk down the nearby 804 trail to an 8-mile sandy beach, or head to nearby Cape Perpetual for a hike.

Our house is an eclectic, bright, and cozy family home. Enjoy a warm fire in front of the wood stove, cook a meal while visiting friends in the large kitchen/dining area, or storm watch from the picture windows. The house is 10 minutes from Yachats (food, brewery, shops, etc) and 15 minutes to Florence old town, the dunes, and restaurants. It is minutes away from many beaches and hikes. Please note this is a well loved family beach house.
