With a variety of activities to enjoy in and around the surrounding area, The Bus Stop offers an ideal opportunity to spend your days cooking on your BBQ, exploring the farm, relaxing at our remote pond and walking the local trails. We are more than happy for you to bring your dogs with you for your stay, however there will be a £10 cleaning charge for their stay. The farm where your bus is situated has a number of different farm animals including Alpacas and chickens. We are more than happy for you to help yourself to eggs in the morning. Spend an afternoon in town admiring 18th-century cottages, getting to know the locals, and enjoying excellent food. It offers 2 restaurant/bars, a newsagent, shop, cafe, and a large play park. Edinburgh is only 30 minutes away and there are a number of train stations near by that can provide you with access to the city centre. We have a small shop for you to buy essentials. Dogs will incur a £10 cleaning fee

Welcome to SHEP – your cosy shepherd’s hut on a vintage military lorry, nestled along an old railway line on our family farm in the Scottish Borders. Snuggle up by the wood-burning stove in winter or throw open the French doors for a summer BBQ. Ideal for couples, families or solo stays. Optional wood-fired hot tub – £70 per stay (please book in advance). Pre-light service can be requested but is not always available. Extra logs can be purchased for £15 per bag.
