Quiet cosy self contained retreat with Wi-Fi, set in an idyllic location with stunning views. Ideal for walking, cycling, bird watching or simply to get away from it all. We are only 20 minutes drive from M74 J13 so ideal as a stop over on the way to the Highlands, and being close to Edinburgh and Glasgow is perfect for a weekend break. The flat has it's own private entrance, garden area and parking. Sorry no pets allowed. Please note there is no mobile phone signal but Wi-Fi is available.

High Hawkhope Bothy

We have to offer fantastic views, bags of peace and quiet at a "get away from it all" venue. We have converted a Shepherd's bothy with beds for four to suit walkers and families alike. This has been converted to a high standard with a single bedroom, separate bathroom with shower and an open plan living and kitchen area with wood burning stove as we aim to offer this accommodation year round. The bothy is located on the edge of the Kielder Water Resevoir next to our home, High Hawkhope Cottage.

Set in the Northumberland National Park, this attractive wooden cabin has been fully renovated inside with plenty of little touches to make our guests feel right at home. Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms (one a kids room) the property is located on the edge of a small lodge park in Otterburn with woodland walks and plenty of wildlife on the doorstep; including our neighbourly red squirrels! The cabin has a wood burning stove, hot tub and extended deck to the front, and pubs and a general store nearby.
