The Old Dairy a cosy gem in Scarborough Old Town

This is a stylish and peaceful hideaway by the sea, nestling in the beautiful old town area of Scarborough. Dating back to 1730 this Georgian town house was the Dairy for the Old Town. The fully self contained basement flat has been renovated to a very high standard. There is underfloor heating throughout, and a wood burning stove in the living room. The flat has a living and dining area, breakfast bar, fully equipped kitchen, contemporary shower room and very comfortable double bedroom.

Wake up ready for adventure in the heart of Scarborough. Walk to the beach for surf lessons, ride the miniature railway, explore the Sea Life Centre or bounce across giant inflatables at the North Yorkshire Water Park, just 20 minutes’ drive away. Garden annex near Beach/Alpamare/Open Air Theatre.

The detached annexe is at the rear of our property. It has a lounge with a king size sofa bed, a single/twin room with a kitchenette and a shower room/WC. The sofabed was purchased new June 2026. There is space in the drive for one visitor car/storage for cycles in the garage. Unfortunately it does not have a cooker but there is a 2 ring electric portable electric hob, a microwave and a slow cooker. It will usually be possible to use the oven in the bungalow by arrangement.
