The Hut in the Wild

Come and stay in our beautifully finished, tin shepherds hut at the bottom of our garden. We are located in the rolling countryside with extensive views over the vale of York. After a day of exploring this AONB, there’s nothing like cooking tea over the fire pit or wood pellet pizza oven followed by a dip under the stars in our rustic hot tub. Relax & unwind as you enjoy the views over field & forest from the patio. Just open the door and let your dog have fun in the fully fenced paddock. Explore the footpaths that lead through undulating landscapes almost from the door. Take a scenic drive to Whitby, Scarborough & dine out at the numerous places to eat. Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Birch House Farm

Birch House Farm is located within 12 acres of woodland and pasture. Hollyhock cabin has been finished to a high specification to give comfort all year round. We provide bed linen, towels and a welcome basket containing home grown and local produce. Ensuite shower facilities, heating, TV and a kitchen area (hob, kettle and microwave). There is a double hammock and a BBQ fire pit area outside. Perfect for a quiet break in the countryside. Couples only. No children. No dogs allowed.

This is a very cool, vintage and large glamping wagon on our little campsite next to Dalby Forest. Made from a reclaimed trailer and materials and decorated inside in a very traditional and vintage manor. It has a small kitchen area and a barn-door dining table with four stools, a double bed and two smaller folding bunks above the double, ideal for children. An outside fire-pit, lots of deck chairs and loungers for your use. Perfect for a couple or a young family. Please read further.

The Bottom Pigsty at Fowl Green Farm

Bottom Pigsty The Bottom Pigsty is a mezzanine style cottage. The downstairs space is an open-plan living area with a separate wet room shower, basin and toilet. There is a kitchen area with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and all the appliances and crockery, pans and oven wear you will need for your stay. There is a TV, Wi-Fi and USB sockets. Upstairs is a mezzanine overlooking the lower level. Sleeping is in double bed and a single with trundle (sleeping 4 comfortably in one space.

Our Treetops cabin is a woodland room, en-suite with a stunning outdoor space and fire pit, views through the trees, and sounds of nature all around. Treetops is one of three cabins set in 4 acres of woodland. Individually designed and centrally heated, Treetops has a double bed, a shower room, a dining/seating area. We sell logs for the cute log burner. There is a small fridge, kettle, toaster, hairdryer and a TV. And a gas barbecue with gas ring on the porch.
