Situated in a quiet part of Scalby village within easy walking distance of the village pubs, cafe and the town’s rugby club which has a gym bar cafe and restaurant. Scalby is on the north side of Scarborough with easy access to Whitby, Pickering and other villages. The old cinder track is also very close by ideal for walking or cycling on. Scarborough has two lovely beaches, theatres, miniature railway and lots of other attractions.

Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Enjoy lazy mornings at Woodpeckers Cottage Silpho as you watch the sun rise over the sea from the sofa. Take your dog to the field (exclusively yours throughout your stay). Walk the footpaths through fields & forests to valleys with streams and hilltops with views. Drive to dog friendly beaches, picnic on the sand and breathe in the sea air. Return to the dog field for afternoon tea or a glass of wine, where a bench for two in a peaceful sun trap provides panoramic views of the setting sun.

Holmefield House

Just a short walk from Scalby village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park this wonderful former farmhouse is surrounded by quiet agricultural fields. Recently refurbished, this property boasts four bedrooms, a huge open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, and stunning views. Guests have access to the entire house, private spa, and garden. Dedicated parking is provided across from the front door. Please note the driveway is shared with other accommodation on the site.

The Barn is well equipped throughout – fine linens in the bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen (including climate-controlled wine storage). Free wi-fi, a bluetooth sound system and smart TV. Outside is a part-walled, sandstone patio with table and chairs and a large field which you are welcome to access.

Relax in this newly refurbished calm, stylish space, set in acres of land on our Victorian property within the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. We are perfectly situated for an active or relaxing break, located for coast and country. The Cedars will delight you with luxury furnishings ensuring, you have a relaxing and memorable stay. The stylish spacious living space is upstairs in order to take advantage of the beautiful uninterrupted views across open countryside to the sea.

Garden annex near Beach/Alpamare/Open Air Theatre.

The detached annexe is at the rear of our property. It has a lounge with a king size sofa bed, a single/twin room with a kitchenette and a shower room/WC. The sofabed was purchased new June 2026. There is space in the drive for one visitor car/storage for cycles in the garage. Unfortunately it does not have a cooker but there is a 2 ring electric portable electric hob, a microwave and a slow cooker. It will usually be possible to use the oven in the bungalow by arrangement.

Scholes Park by the sea is a beautiful semi detached home which sleeps 5 people minutes from the North bay beach by foot and the Scarborough open air theatre. Situated in a quiet reidential area yet still close to local amenities. With off street parking for several cars. The property has open plan living in a very contemporary style, a wood burner in the lounge making this very cosy. With rear bi-fold doors bringing the outside in. Front and back gardens both sun traps.

Secluded Shepherd's Hut Outdoor Bath & Firepit

Set in a secluded spot, this cosy hut offers peace, nature, and stunning paddock views- just a 15 min walk to Scarborough. Stargaze whilst soaking in the outdoor bath or toast marshmallows by the fire pit. Inside, there’s a comfy double bed, log burner (starter logs included), bathroom, kitchen & seating. Off-grid but with a plumbed shower! No mains electric; solar only. A cool box is provided instead of a fridge, plus fluffy dressing gowns & towels for extra comfort.

"Hay Brow Cow Shed". Unique, sleeping experience.

The 'Cow Shed' has a double bed, (we can also supply 2 single (memory foam) mattresses for a party of 4) . Price shown is for your own bedding - but we can supply our 100% cotton bedding and towels for an extra charge. BREAKFAST IS NOT SUPPLIED. Free parking, 10 mins walk from Scalby village, 15mins drive from Scarborough, or Dalby forest, and 8 from the Open Air Theatre. There is a camping toilet in a side room of the shed with flushing toilet/hot showers nearby.
