Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

We are located in the quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for cycling and walking holidays.

Fancy getting away from it all? Then you have found the right place. A little piece of paradise on earth with uninterrupted views of Grizedale woodland. I only book guests with previous good reviews (at least 2). No pets allowed. Maximum of 6 people (including infants). Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

There is free parking for two vehicles and undercover storage for several bicycles. The Eagles Head pub is a short walk away. Hawkshead village, 4 miles away, has a Coop, shops and pubs.
