Casa Isabella: Serenity By The Sea

Casa Isabella is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the the village of Malfa on the island of Salina, one of the seven Aeolian Islands off the north-west coast of Sicily. This two storey house was recently renovated to exceptional standards and restored in typical Aeolian style with a contemporary twist, sleeping two people comfortably. The house has magnificent uninterrupted views over the ocean, including from the double bedroom, the two covered outdoor terraces and the front garden. It is bordered by grape vines on one side, olive trees to the other, and the ocean in front. The double bedroom upstairs has a window overlooking the sea and also views back to Malfa, and has an en-suite bathroom and shower. Downstairs there is a large living area that opens onto a covered terrace which is perfect for entertaining, a modern eat-in kitchen opening to another terrace, and another bathroom with shower and washing machine. The house is minimalist in design with resin floors and new fittings throughout. All bedding and bath towels are supplied (please bring your own beach towels), and the kitchen is fully equipped. The house is fully air-conditioned and also has heating for the colder months, as well as a slow combustion fire-place. The house has television and wifi, but no telephone. Mobile reception is good. The house is a 5 minute walk from Malfa shops and village square, a 10 minute walk to Malfa port and a 15 minute walk to Punta Scario Beach. It has plenty of parking space for a car and/or scooters, both of which can be rented in Malfa. Casa Isabella is perfect for a week, a month or the whole summer season! Minimum stay is 7 nights. Casa Isabella is also our holiday home, and we ask that you treat it as if it were yours. Upon arrival, we will supply a full information guide to the house, restaurants and other sites and services in Malfa, and the surrounding islands. The villa consists of two separate dwellings in perfect Aeolian style, connected by a large courtyard, "Ulli's home": the majestic centuries-old olive tree comes from Villa Ogliastro, a historic farm in the province of Catania. The charming houses are located within a large property surrounded by rich and varied Mediterranean vegetation. Both structures have large solarium terraces where you can spend pleasant moments of relaxation, with extraordinary views of the sea, the Pollara stack, and the Montagna dei Porri. In summer, life takes place mainly outdoors: sitting on the typical Aeolian "bisuoli," lounging in hammocks or on comfortable bamboo loungers. The house, located on the "front row," is undoubtedly one of the best locations on the island from which to admire magnificent sunsets. Always different, with surprising shades of color, a rare enchantment that nature gives us every day! The interiors of the houses are meticulously designed down to the last detail. Furnished with taste and elegance. Niche, typical Aeolian built-in pantries, exposed wooden ceiling beams, lava stone windows, floors with fine Santo Stefano di Camastra majolica tiles... every detail is surprising in its beauty and simplicity.

Al primo piano della Villa degli Armatori si trova questo splendido monolocale con ingresso indipendente che gode di uno spazioso terrazzo vista mare e isole. Tutti i dettagli e le tonalità degli arredi richiamano la bellezza del mare di Salina, le atmosfere sognanti dei fondali marini e delle vedute sul blu infinito. All’interno di uno spazio raccolto ma funzionale, si trovano una zona letto, una cucina a scomparsa ed una zona living. Completano lo spazio una cabina armadio e un ampio bagno.

E' possibile tra l'altro raggiungere l'antico borgo di pescatori con una piacevole passeggiata, dove potrete riconoscere alcuni luoghi del film Il Postino. Posto ideale per trascorrere una vacanza all'insegna del relax.

Casa Blu è un luminosissimo monolocale in stile eoliano a Santa Marina Salina, in zona Barone, proprio all'inizio del borgo. Il colore dominante è il blu delle bellissime maioliche eoliane e del mare. Dal patio si gode di una vista incantevole su Stromboli e Panarea, a pochi passi dal mare e dai servizi essenziali, ristoranti, negozi tipici. A 10 minuti di passeggiata dal porto. Alle spalle del corso principale (isola pedonale). Sono presenti videocamere di sorveglianza esterne.
