You'll find total privacy in our cozy cottage hideaway located in a shady garden courtyard. Off-street parking and lockbox access are provided for easy guest check in. We're centrally located in Merced's historic "Old Town" just a short walk from Downtown. Great restaurants, wine bars, movies, a playhouse and live entertainment venues are all there for your dining and relaxation pleasure. We are a non-smoking facility. Located 4.2 miles to Bass Lake, 23 miles to Yosemite South Gate Entrance (Mariposa Grove) or 90 minutes to Yosemite Valley. Amenities include stocked kitchen with Keurig, queen bed, sofa bed, and small sleeping loft w/queen mattress. The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, stargazing or playing the 6-hole disc golf course.

We’re also very close to Bass Lake, and walking distance to Lewis Creek Trailhead, a National Forest trail featuring two waterfalls.

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is an enchanting one room casita situated on the outer crest of the property, The Confluence. Wake up to the sunrise with a lush *View* of the natural countryside from your private deck. The Hideaway is accessed by a foot path (200ft) from the Main House. The Private Bathroom is off of the Main House (200ft walk from the room). From the parking area to the room, it is roughly 400ft. There is no kitchen or cooking appliances other than a hot water kettle and a mini-frig.
