Welcome to Bellwoods Cottage B&B on Salt Spring Island. (IG @stayatbellwoods) Enjoy our west coast cottage with spectacular hilltop views overlooking the Gulf Islands and the Coast Mountain Ranges. The cottage is privately situated on 5 acres of wooded land, bordered by Peter Arnell Park and trails leading to nature reserves at the bottom of the hill. This 2-bedroom 1-bath can sleep up to 6 people, with a loft upstairs. A perfect place for couples, friends, and families to rest and explore.

Steps to the Beach

We are located 10 mins. from town and also on the bus route. Situated across from Fernwood beach, walk to the pier and cafe. St. Mary's Lake is 2 min. drive around the corner. Sweet ocean view to Galiano. Enjoy the outdoor garden area, with patio table. Access to fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker. Coffee, tea and continental breakfast items. Sitting room and breakfast area. Please let me know at time of reservation if you are bringing a pet and tell me a bit about them.

Bluebell's Garden Suite

Private, sunny 400 sq ft. garden suite. This well-appointed suite has a cozy living room with wood burning stove, kitchenette, separate bedroom with queen-sized bed and a bathroom with a luxurious claw foot tub and shower. The suite has its own entrance, an outdoor seating area within a private, fenced garden full of fruit trees, perennials and hummingbirds. exclusive use include a washer/dryer. Wifi /parking are included. Not suitable for children/people with mobility issues.

The Trincomali Hideaway Oceanfront Yurt

This luxurious oceanfront yurt is hidden in an ancient cedar grove providing privacy and an amazing backdrop to its unprecedented ocean front setting. Set atop an ocean front rock face with a fully covered patio. A fully equipped kitchen and spa like bathroom highlight the luxurious amenities included in this stay. An upscale romantic getaway like no other. Breakfast provided, our guests receive coffee, teas, a bottle of our house cider and our fresh pastries during their stay.

Sister’s Lake Cottage

Sat on a bluff by St Mary's Lake and protected by cedar trees, this calm and cozy cottage is the ideal getaway for couples and families seeking rest, relaxation and adventure in the serene setting of Salt Spring's North End. Guests have the benefit of a large deck and private drive off a peaceful residential road within short walking distance (0.5km) of the lake and a short drive from Ganges town centre, Fernwood Beach with pier & cafe and Mount Erskine Provincial Park.

The Sea House

Our place is close to public transport, parks, the beach, great restaurant, grocery store, other shops and coffee shop.. You’ll love our place because of the great SSI neighbourhood, the comfy bed, the cosiness, proximity to the ocean, lovely gardens and flowers, friendly hosts and a nice continental breakie and snacks. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). We have a friendly dog and cat on the property.

Salty Mountain Sweet Retreat offers our guests a spacious, uniquely designed, luxe and lovely ‘base camp’ with a view to rest, restore and surrender to the magic of Salt Spring Island. Quiet, south-facing location with views over meadows and the mountains of Vancouver Island beyond. Partial ocean view! The suite features a living area with TV and comfy couch & chair. There is a queen bed and deluxe private bathroom. The suite is connected to the main house, but it has its own expansive deck and a private entrance.

Situated on 4 acres, our home is totally private, yet only a 3-minute drive to Ganges. Peaceful and tranquil, come here to relax after a full day of exploring.

Wheelhouse Suite on Salt Spring Island

Stay in our private suite across the road from a lake on beautiful Salt Spring Island. You will have your own patio and barbecue with chairs to relax with a coffee or a glass of wine. Lakeside walks are just down the road. Forest walks and ocean beaches are only a short drive. The village of Ganges is an 8 minute drive away. Pets welcome by request only. Additional cleaning fee of $50 for pets.

Rustic cabin in the woods

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that there is no wi-fi at the cabin and no cell reception making this cabin experience a great way to unplug and connect with nature.
