Parks & Nature
This is the largest municipal park in Europe. It houses Dublin Zoo and the Police Headquarters and notable residents include the President and the US Ambassador. There are lots of sports grounds and two lovely cafés. If you're lucky, you might spot some fallow deer too!

This is a wonderful local amenity. The park commemorates all Irish soldiers who fought in both world wars. It runs alongside the River Liffey, across from lots of boat clubs, so you often see rowers passing by on the water. There are two beautiful rose gardens in this park, magnificent in summer!

It houses a wide range of modern art (plus temporary exhibitions) in the old Royal Hospital building complex which is modelled on Les Invalides in Paris. There are beautiful gardens there, plus a café and a museum shop. And admission is free!
