Built around 1820, this Federal-style, two-story farmhouse was owned by Dr. Calvin Jones. By 1823, one of the rear rooms was the first Wake Forest Post Office and another was likely Dr. Jones' medical office. It was originally located on the campus where Stealey Hall now stands. It was moved to this location in 1956 and restored in the 1960s by the Wake Forest College Birthplace Society and is currently part of the Wake Forest Historical Museum.

This is my favorite grocery store in the area. Sometimes the missus and I will go here for a date night. Their preprepared foods are less than restaurant prices, but not much less. On the other hand, I have found their house brand groceries to be cost comparable to Lidl and Aldi.
