SLAB BBQ is amazingly delicious and is awesome in it's own special unique way. It's definitely not your traditional Texas BBQ that you read about in some magazine, so if you are in the mood of the touristy flavor of Texas, SLAB is not your place. But if you want some of the best BBQ around with a gourmet flair, SLAB is the place to be! Their Strawberry Habanero Ribs are fall off the bone delicious, along with their homemade onion potato salad, mushroom green bean casserole, brown sugar baked beans, baked potato casserole are all so good. The pulled pork/pulled chicken/chop beef mini slider trio is a great combo meal, but the BBQ nachos can't be beat. Costs about $20-$30 for 2 to eat there.

The Domain is a high end outdoor shopping mall similar to a Galleria Mall in many other cities. The Domain includes many traditional mall stores, plus lots of stores specializing in luxury clothing, cosmetics, hair, body products, purses, etc. If you need to buy some nice last minute clothes or shoes to wear to a classy event, The Domain is the place you'll want to go shopping. In addition to hundreds of stores, there are lots of restaurants, coffee shops, etc. After you finish up your shopping, walk next door and relax with a delicious cocktail on one of the rooftop bars on Rock Rose Drive, which is the bar and entertainment district next door to The Domain.

Rock Rose Drive is a street similar to 6th Street downtown that is packed with 25+ popular rooftop bars, patios, and night clubs. Most bars and clubs have original locations on West 6th St, but the new Rock Rose locations are considerably higher end. Bars and clubs on Rock Rose are focused to attract a 30's - 40's aged professional crowd who is generally more concerned with having a good time with friends than worrying about the cost of their night out. Classy dress codes are enforced, food options are gourmet, and cocktail prices are around $12+ at most bars. Great brunch!
