This is our local Weatherspoons, excellent for cheap and cheerful - and the food is perfectly edible - one of the better ones I would say! Popular with the young on Friday/Saturday evenings. Very close to town centre.

Our favourite - A real ale bar that has won CAMRA awards - great atomosphere, Happy Hour between 5 - 7pm every night, can get very VERY busy! Live music on Sundays. No food.

It takes about 30 seconds to reach from our house, great atmosphere, great beer (cheap) bit of a festival feel to it - sometimes live music. ONLY open on a Friday 4pm-9pm. Definitely worth a visit!
