Literally 1 minute away from our front door the Restaurant du Barrage sits right on the river and in the summer months opens a veranda with super river views.
It's open every day for lunch and evenings except during the winter.
On the first Friday in every month the barrage hosts a special event inspired by some of the British residing in the area: Fish and Chip Night! We quality tested the event and have to report the standard is excellent.

Since the opening in June 2000, the book stalls and artisanal boutiques have been rented by the City. It's a great place to spend the afternoon.
