Rapperswil is a really lovely place. In the old town no cars are aloud. It is directly at the lake, has very nice Restaurants and shopping possibilities. Also the castle is nice to see.

It is the main mountain of Zurich with 869meters over sea level. There is a nice restaurant and also an excellent round view over Zurich and the rest of it.

Right next door is a small, nice store. You get a lot of things close from the region. The best cheeses all around. In Wintertime they have the best Raclette and Fondue to buy. I highly recommend to visit them, even you are buying nothing.
