It's a touristy place to go but we still love it. They have really large portions so go hungry. Good fried seafood. Get the Carolina Delight as an app if your feeling up to it. It's so good!

This place has a changing menu but it's all very good. Nice drinks too but one of the best parts about it is the view. It's right on the water.

If you're headed out to Folly Beach one day, I would def suggest this place for breakfast. It's a eclectic restaurant with very tasty food, drinks, and really is just a fun place to eat.

They have so many delicious, fresh made desserts and it's right in the heart of downtown. They have a lovely wine selection as well. Perfect place for late night dessert.

Drinks & Nightlife
This bar is at the top of a hotel but it has really nice views of the city and overlooks a beautiful pool. Occasionally there is some dancing later on in the night or a band playing.

This place always has live music. It's particularly impressive on weekend nights but any night you go you'll find live music. Mostly Irish music because it's an Irish pub but that makes it lots of fun. It's on Church Street so beautiful views outside of this place.

This is a great place to go to get into nature. It's a historic rice plantation. Perfect for bird watching but also great for anyone who wants to get a taste of low country wildlife.

Sightseeing
There are many plantations to see in Charleston but this is our favorite and also so close to our house. The plantation house is nice but the trails through the gardens and along the river, plus the roaming peacocks make this a fun trip for us time and time again.

This is the famous out-door market of Charleston and worth checking out. Many local vendors. I go there fairly often and don't always buy but always enjoy wandering.

Entertainment & Activities
This is a comedy theatre that is very affordable. Most of the shows we go to are $5....very worth the $5 for night time entertainment in downtown Charleston.
