Food Scene

This is a world class hotel with a restaurant that overlooks beautiful downtown Ketchikan. The food is great at a reasonable price. I also like to check out what's new in their gift shop. Oh... and they have a tram that will take you down to our famous Creek Street! Show your food receipt and you can ride the tram free of charge.

Sightseeing

You can only get to the Fjords by plane or boat. I've done both and prefer the boat tour for better photo opportunities. Allen Marine Tours is the best deal in town for the Misty Fjords.

Grab a copy of the Ketchikan Walking Tour map and you'll be taken back in time... before Alaska gained statehood. Read about 'the good old days' as you walk through several neighborhoods, parks, and cultural points of interest. The best part... IT'S FREE!! You can also book the walking tour with our local native historian, Joe Williams. He has 'Where The Eagle Walks' tours for hire. Joe's passion for our community is reflected in his very personal & historical tour.

Arts & Culture

The Gallery is conveniently located downtown, a few blocks from the cruise ship dock. Ketchikan boasts the highest percentage (per capita) of artists in Southeast Alaska. You can always find great exhibits at The Gallery.
