That's the closest restaurant to the house and one of the most booked in town. Quite economic compared to the rest and very tasty dishes. Don't miss Spaghetti alle vongole or allo scoglio! Sometimes we also order take away "Fritto Misto" to eat at home, delicious!

Sightseeing
Villa Durazzo is a must see place in S.Margherita. It's an old manor in the middle of a marvellous and huge park. Perfect for a romantic walk and breathtaking panorama.

You can't leave S.Margherita without visiting Portofino. Everybody knows it! Everything here it's expensive but the town is unforgettable. You can reach Portofino by bus or, better, by foot through a very nice path in the forest. Just take some map routes in the info point in S.Margherita. Consider 1H30'. The first part is next to the road, the second one is all covered by the trees.

You can reach Portofino by bus or, better, by foot through a very nice path in the forest. Just take some map routes in the info point in S.Margherita. Consider 1H30'. The first part is next to the road, the second one is all covered by the trees.
Parks & Nature
Public free beach, gravels. Perfect for sunbathing and relaxing, not really for swimming, water is much more clear in other places.

S.Michele di Pagana Beach.
Very nice and quite public beach. Gravels and half shadow, half sun in the afternoon. Here the sea is much more clear than in the city. You can reach this beach by bus from the bus stop in front of the public beach in S.Margherita. Stop at S.Michele di Pagana church and go down the stairs. It's very close also by foot but there's no sidewalk on the street so it's quite dangerous to reach by foot.
Stella Beach

Very nice and quite public beach. Gravels and half shadow, half sun in the afternoon. Here the sea is much more clear than in the city. You can reach this beach by bus from the bus stop in front of the public beach in S.Margherita. Stop at S.Michele di Pagana church and go down the stairs. It's very close also by foot but there's no sidewalk on the street so it's quite dangerous to reach by foot.
Minaglia Beach is a private beach with good services at a good price. When we would like to relax and have no worries about anything else, we came here. Other places are very expensive.

My favourite place in the area at all. Wonderful crystal clear water, old abbey in the background, no cars, no massive crowd and free! You can reach this amazing place only by foot or by ferry. You can take the ferry in S.Margherita for a nice price but my favourite route is through the forest by foot, such a relief to finally arrive at the beach and jump in the water! A must see place.
