Sightseeing

Close to our house is the terminal of Viðey island ferry. The boat trip only takes about 5-10 minutes. On the island you will find Viðeyjarstofa, one of Iceland's oldest stone houses which now houses a lovely café/restaurant. You can bike around the island and take a look at artwork by Yoko Ono (Imagine Peace Tower) and Richard Serra.
