With its notorious former prison, among tourists the island is also known as “Croatian Alcatraz”. Make sure to bring a camera so you can capture the island’s unique views!

Particulary worth seeing is the ethnographic collection with genuine folk costumes and instruments, then archeological and hydro archeological finds from Novi Vinodolski and Povile, the collection of works of art and arms, and memorial collection of writer Mazuranic.
