A great bar/restaurant/live music venue, right next to the canal saint martin. You can even just stay outside and buy beers you can drink sitting next to the water, while you enjoy the music.

Great Tapas, so beautiful, very romantic, though it's also great for groups (we had drinks there during a stag party once). It's literally ON the Seine.

Parks & Nature
This is a hidden park on top of the Montparnasse train station. Most Parisians don't even know it exists! Enter the train station, find track 1 - 2. There's a metal staircase to the left. Take it all the way up until you're on top of the train station. It's a great picnic spot, lovely grass planes.
There's also a museum of the Résistance there.

It's designed for runners and strollers, there are trees lining it all the way. Really nice for running without cars driving by.

It's very easy to get there from home, take line 13 until Varenne, there are already statues in the metro!!
Look up opening times and closing days before you head there.
