This place has a great setting on San Luis Creek. The deck is wonderful in the afternoons or evenings. The food is great. Prices are not cheap but a reasonable value.

The best Thai is SLO. Next to the train station. A little closer is Thai Boat which is also very good and the people that own it are incredibly nice. They are Thai and often go back to Thailand to visit family so you may find they are not open. At least there are two good options.

This is the hipster coffee shop in town. Near the train station, great food, fantastic drinks, lots of cool people and students, Breakfast or lunch her is great!
