Cardiff Castle is a medieval castle and Victorian Gothic revival mansion located in the city centre of Cardiff, Wales. The original motte and bailey castle was built in the late 11th century by Norman invaders on top of a 3rd-century Roman fort.

Castell Coch is just outside the city about a 15 minute drive, it means red castle which is a stunning gothic castle, rebuilt in the 19th Century, you can go inside and see the rooms which are quite majestic.

Has an amazing rooftop bar for when the sun is shining (it does sometimes - Honestly) The setting for the restaurant is boutique jungle chic, with lots of plants. The speciality for dinner is meat skewers.
