A car is a must to see the Northern Rivers. There is quite some distance between towns and villages and it is quite hilly.

The beaches of the Northern Rivers are beautiful and swimming is an all year round activity for many ...... and even for people like me who don't like the cold, ocean swimming can start in September and go through to May.
The many beautiful bush walks are worth experiencing but you will need your walking shoes.
