This is one of the most historical sights in Istanbul.
The story behind this place is it literally means "Maiden's Tower" in Turkish. The name comes from a legend: the Byzantine emperor heard a prophecy telling him that his beloved daughter would die at the age of 18 by a snake. So he decided to put her in this tower built on a rock on the Bosphorus isolated from the land thus no snake could kill her.
Currently there are restaurant in the tower and boats going to there. Guests can go there by car or bus in 20-25 min from the flat.

There is also one big aquarium in the shopping center that guests can visit.

Located just under one of the Bosphorus bridges, this place offers quite comfortable dinner experience. It can be counted as luxury segment and it is about 20 min. away from the flat by car.

There are many places that guests can have Turkish breakfast, which is one of the most promising type of meal in Turkey in my opinion. I recommend guests to have Turkish breakfast here or in Rumeli Hisari (in European side).

Kadıköy is one of the most popular places in Istanbul, especially among young people. As one of the most ancient areas of Istanbul, these days it is more popular with it's nightlife, cafes, bars, restaurants. There are also many small local shops, cultural activities including theater etc..
I recommend guests to have a walk in seaside in Kadıköy. There are also ferries from Kadıköy to other popular districts such as Beşiktaş, Karaköy, Eminönü etc..
Guests can visit Kadıköy by using cab or bus from the flat (it would take 15-20 min.). I added the sculpture in the picture since it is very central meeting point.
