Beach

The Punta Faro Beach which is part of the Capo Peloro Natural Reserve features gorgeous white sand and the Punta Faro Beach Club with its lovely restaurant Mashalai a Mare, where you have to try the freshly fished sword fish. At Punta Faro the Ionian Sea and the slightly warmer Tyrrhenian Sea meet. If you prefer warm water for your daily swim take a 10-15 min walk towards the northwest, to the less touristy beach called ‚Mortelle‘. From time you can see a ‚feluca‘ passing through the strait of Messina - a boat used for fishing sword fish.
