The Yacht Club is one of our favorite places for breakfast. It's the best place to view the yachts in port and watch the boats go in and out Simpson Bay Lagoon. Go early. It is located in Simpson Bay - directly after the drawbridge.

Fat Tony's is a casual bar/restaurant with a local flair. Very casual. Walking distance. Near AUC and Jules bakery up the hill. The owner, Rick, is from Colorado so smoked pork and brisket is on the menu. Good casual menu - pizza, bison burgers, etc. A favorite of the medical students.

This is a beautiful restaurant on the French side. The entrance can be easily missed. Look for the sign that says Pic Paradis. It'll be on your right. The entrance is at the top of a big hill after you pass the sign to Friar's Bay. There are also hiking trails and zip lines.

Pinel Island is a great way to spend a day. It is located on the French side before you get to Orient Bay. Park in the lot and take the boat across - runs every half hour. $12.00/person for roundtrip ticket - pay in cash. One restaurant is on island. .There is a charge for lounge chairs and umbrellas. Get a reservation time for lunch as the restaurant fills up fast, so beach delivery can be slow. This is a beautiful location. Great for kids as there is an easy in and out in shallow water. Gift shop on island. Many iguanas. Snorkeling.

Pinel Island is a great way to spend a day. It is located on the French side before you get to Orient Bay. Excellent restaurant, especially at night when Chef Dino cooks. Makes a fun day with the highest zipline on the island. Lunch or have dinner in a beautiful stone building used to store sugar cane on an old plantation.

There is a Carrafour grocery in Porto Cupecoy, near the medical school, and on the way to Philipsburg. We usually go to the Carrafour up the hill past the medical school. The one on the way to Philipsburg is the largest. Two discount stores are Cost U Less and Prime. Super U on the way to Marigot is a great store on the French side.

Everyone loves the Red Piano located in Simpson Bay Resort. Opens late. Great place to enjoy the music and have a couple drinks. Located at the top of the hill going through Simpson Bay Resort. On your left.
