Great place to walk around with lots of interesting historic buildings and a variety of restaurants and bars overlooking Cardiff Bay. Take a boat taxi up to the city or enjoy a boat trip around the bay. Take a lovely stroll over to Penarth via the barrage.

I would definitely recommend an open bus tour around the city centre and you can pick this up outside Cardiff Castle. Great way to learn about the city.
