The local beers here are delicious. We argue over which is their best IPA... spoiler alert... they're ALL good! Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful patio when the weather is nice. We also love their Sunday brunch!

Take a morning stroll and get your caffeine on at this cozy coffee shop. There are a few of these but we like the one on Green Street - because we know that one has the breakfast sandwiches! Highly recommend the egg and cheese - on a biscuit!

Family run, Italian bakery. Fresh homemade bread, pasta, pizza, gelato, and cookies! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. It's hard to not want to order one of everything - but don't miss the cannoli!

Highly recommend the Sunday brunch here! Great food, laid back vibe, and super friendly staff. Really good bloody Mary and huevos rancheros… and don’t turn down the hash brown! Reservations are advised but bar dining seems to turn over pretty fast!

We consider this our ‘local’ as it’s very convenient to the house! A super casual neighborhood bar. Stop in for a craft beer and some good pub food. An easy choice after a long day exploring Harrisburg.

The majority of the trail is a dedicated path that passes along the Susquehanna and several parks and gardens.
