Favorite ocean beach. Has a lifeguard and large parking lot. Need a beach permit to park. It is important to arrive before 10:30am on weekends in order to not have to wait in line for a spot. (Or go after 2pm.)

Unfortunately, Sag Harbor has been discovered but it is still my favorite town here. Sag Harbor and Southampton are equidistant from the house (about 10 minutes) away.

Cycling on main road (Noyac Road) is dangerous.
Biking within Southampton Acres is safe. Also Long Beach (Foster Memorial Beach) is a good place to cycle for children.

Short Cuts
To go towards Bridgehampton, take Middle Line Highway. Turn left as you leave Southampton Acres. Make the first left onto Roses Grove and the first left onto Middle Line Highway....
Left, left, left. Navigation will take you from there.
To go to Southampton town, Turn left as you leave Southampton Acres. make the left right after North Sea Farm (Watermill Towd Road).
To go to Sag Harbor and East Hampton, Turn right as you leave Southampton Acres. Pass Cromers and make a left at Long Beach, right at traffic circle. Take 114 from Sag Harbor to go to East Hampton.
