It is located in Tilissos/Doxa, a 25-min drive from Hive through the mountains towards Marathos and Damasta. The road is narrow and the locals drive quite fast sometimes, so be careful when you drive.

This is a must-see little tavern for travelers who want to experience a quiet and truly traditional place to eat. It has also the best traditional Cretan pitas served with local honey.

The water is the best in the area, but -as it is relatively small- it can get crowded, so it is best to visit early in the morning.
'Mades' is 5min drive from the house, there is a tavern and the water is clear and interesting to explore if you enjoy snorkeling.
