Must see
One of the best ways to experience Mljet, you just must swim in the Odysseus cave.
I suggest to go in the morning, although it won't be easy to come back due to heat and no shade, but the colors in the cave are so amazing during the morning you won't regret it.

The islet of St Mary is situated in the middle of the Great lake, a boat ride is included in the entrance to the National park.
It can get crowded on summer days, but worth the visit never the less.

If you like sandy beaches this place is definitely for you.
It is only 15 minutes drive from the apartment.
An easy hike to the magnificent view. Once you enter the National park from Vrbovica parking lot you should ask for direction (that is the easiest starting point), it'll take about an hour and it's really easy hike in the shade of the pine trees all the way up.

The Prožura cemetery offers the most beautiful view of the Prožura bay.
Cemetery is situated in the Prožura village, it'll take few minutes drive from our apartment to the village.
Also, if you're in a decent shape I can sincerely recommend a hike from our apartment to the village, via old Austrian footpath. The path is really nice and not very long but very steep, and on hot summer days can be challenging.
