Hills

Our favourite areas for walking, biking or just taking in the beautiful surroundings.
The Lawley is one of our favourite - not too ambitious - hill walks. It’s a ridge walk that climbs and dips, climbs and dips giving beautiful 360 views. For those wanting to continue walking in the hills it can be linked to the Caer Caradoc. And by the time you’ve done all that you’ll want to head into Church Stretton for some well deserved cake.

Just a 15 minute drive from Wrens Nest, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms is an ideal place to start your Shropshire Hills adventure. Open 7 days a week, 10-5, head here to learn about the history of the area and get lots of ideas for places to visit and things to see and do. Grab a coffee or some lunch at their cafe, take a walk through Onny Meadows, join one of their events and browse their brilliant bookshop - I never leave empty handed.
