woodland

This is a simply beautiful woodland with a stunning tree lined wide path. Discover the 3 sisters trees and Google the story. There is a hidden bunker too if you venture far enough.

Nice local walk

Walk from our house down the hill, turn left onto Pembroke Rd, walk towards the corner shop. cross over the crossing and then go past the Coop. Take the next right onto Gramshaw Rd. At the far end there is a level crossing.( with kissing gates on each side) Cross over the tracks walk down the lane and around the corner to your left. Cross over the road and you'll see a lane to your right after the terraced houses. This is the start of Broken bridges walk. When you emerge in Harnham keep the river to your left and follow the road left. There will be a left turning after some houses that takes you to The Mill, a lovely old pub with beer garden by the river. Superb views towards the Cathedral across the Water meadows. Keep walking past the pub, unless you want to stop for a pint..and you'll end up in Queen Elizabeth gardens( Lizzie Gardens)
