The Newark Museum offers splendid Eygptian & Tibetan Cultural Exhibits. The 14th Dalai Lama has come to the Newark Museum.The monks made an exquisite sand mandala for Peace Conference Both Museums are definitely worth visiting. Check on line for Special Exhibits and dates of shows.

LYFT or UBER locally; for NYC, take # 165 = Public Transit Bus to Port Authority Station, NYC. That bus is is about 10 blocks walk from our house on Main St. It stops on south bound side (across Main St. from Firemen's Memorial Park where railroad line runs. If you want to get into the NYC by train, go to closest train stop at Anderson St. Station, Hackensack. It takes about 20-25 min. to walk down to Anderson St. Station stop from our house. Or call a Hackensack taxi/LYFT/UBER to get you there at your convenience.
