About a 10 minute drive (BA4 6TA) The Den provides the best full cooked option for breakfast in the area. Linked to a very good local butcher - well worth a visit.

A bit of a drive but 100% worth a visit. This is personally my favorite pub in the area. Very simple, no music, big fire, large flagstones, benches, great food, amazing local ales, a must!
