Ujjain is an ancient city, with many famous temples worth visiting, atleast once in your lifetime. It has the highly famous Mahakaleshwar Mandir, Sandipani Ashram - the place where Bhagwan Sri Krishna studied, Harsiddhi Mandir, Jantar Mantar etc etc. Should reserve at least 5-6 hours to see all the various places.

Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Shiv Mandir in around 90 minutes drive from Indore. It is situated on the banks of Narmada River. This is a highly revered pilgrim center with a very ancient Shiv Mandir. The place has nice bathing ghats where you can take a dip in the river.

This place was the ancient capital of Malwa region which was ruled by Holkars. It is on the bank of River Narmada, and has a ghat for bathing. You can go for boating, see the ancient fort and also get darshan of Shivji at the nice temple there.

Sirpur Lake is around 2 Kms from Aaa-Shram. It has walking tracks and nice scenes.
Indore Zoo is a nice place to visit. Takes few hours to go around. It was an awesome Aviary, where you are in the midst of free flying exotic birds.
Kamla Nehru Prani Sangrahalay
