Fantastic day drive to the west coast through the town of Lairn followed by a quiet drive along the loch. Unique, peaceful and stunning drive, especially in October when the trees change color.

Upmarket restaurant. Delicious tasting menu. Staff knowledgeable on the food and wine. We came with our children and they prepared some nice pasta for our boys (even this was not on the menu). Booking essential.

Every Wednesday at 10am by the Co-op, Lionel comes with his van from the islands. He has amazing seafood. Try his scallops and mussels, fresh from fisherman or from his fishing the day before :-)
I was brought up in France by the sea side eating a lot of fresh seafood but I found Lionel’s scallops simply the best ones.

Indian restaurant but we usually use their take away services as we prefer to eat at home. We like most of their dishes. Quick service which works well for us.
The owner is an ex professional cricket player, very friendly and he has nice stories to share with our boys who are cricket lovers.
