Food scene
This doesnt fit the countryside vibe you may be going for, but Amore is always worth mentioning. A little hidden gem ten minutes away in Floyds Knobs. We would recommend taking out dinner and a bottle of wine to enjoy on the front or back deck of the cottage!

This is a bit of a drive, but its a pretty one! The Overlook has been a staple for decades. They have a decent beer selection, good food, and an amazing view of the Ohio River and the surrounding valley. Id recommend the fried chicken or my favorite, the catfish.
