The Gallery has been recently and extensively upgraded and is well worth a look. It is free to access and there is a lovely coffee shop on the top floor with some amazing views of the city from the outside terrace.
It hosts regular exhibitions, has many unique and interesting exhibits and is only a 10 minute walk from Rosebank.

The Torry Battery is a disused artillery battery near Torry in Aberdeen which has overlooked the city's harbour since 1860.
Its a favourite spot for Dolphin watching and they can be seen jumping at the harbour most days. You can also walk along the coast to Nigg lighthouse just a little further up the coast. Its just a few minutes in the car or around a 25 minute walk along the River Dee and through Torry.

Greyhope RoadThe Torry Battery is a disused artillery battery near Torry in Aberdeen which has overlooked the city's harbour since 1860.
Its a favourite spot for Dolphin watching and they can be seen jumping at the harbour most days. You can also walk along the coast to Nigg lighthouse just a little further up the coast. Its just a few minutes in the car or around a 25 minute walk along the River Dee and through Torry.
Aberdeen has a wonderful long beach and is favourite place of ours for running, walking, open water swimming and Paddle boarding. Its also a great spot for Surfing and boards can be rented locally at Scotsurf down near Footdee.
There is Codonas Amusement Park which has something for kids and adults alike and there are several wonderful little Cafes serving everything from breakfast to evening meals as well as some wonderful ice creams.

Its very informal and relaxed and the food is just wonderful. Its reasonably priced and great value overall. A place we love to go when time allows.
