I volunteered here for over a year. The staff is awesome! I obviously LOVE sea turtles, so this is a must-see that I recommend to all travelers. There are cool interactive exhibits and you will learn awesome facts about sea turtles and how to keep them safe.

We normally don’t eat fast food, but this McDonald’s is amazing! There is a huge interactive playground inside that is “underwater”-themed. Lots of fun for the kids and gives parents a break! The food is good as well.

Best Time for Beach Visits
I recommend leaving around 7am-9am to visit any of the beaches in this area. It will help you avoid heavy traffic during peak tourist seasons. 11am-3pm are the busiest times.

Flying in?
Rental cars are the best way to go! Uber & Lyft are not prominent in Gulf Breeze. However, if traveling to Destin or Pensacola (not Pensacola Beach), there are more ride-share/taxi services.
