A fantastic walk along the side of the dramatic cliffs and rock formations of the Trotternish Ridge. You can easily hop out for the car and stroll 10 minutes to enjoy the amazing views, or continue to walk the full loop which takes around 2 hours from the car park.

The weather changes quickly on Skye, so even if you set out with glorious blue skies, it may catch you off-guard with a quick 10 minute hail storm! Bring a good waterproof jacket and a warm layer to keep with you as you explore.

Distances can be deceptive when driving
Many of the roads on Skye twist and wind, or are single track and can take longer than you’d expect. Always allow a bit of extra time for your drive, particularly if you have reservations, or bookings for a fixed time.
