Situated in the chocolate box high street of Linton in South Cambridgeshire, The Linton Kitchen has well and truly become a community hub since opening in April 2013. “The kitchen was such an important part of growing up for me, both in my childhood home and the homes of my close friends and family. The kettle was always on, the welcome always warm, and the food always plentiful. Coupled with my experience working in inner city cafes in Australia, and rural pubs in the UK I have been lucky enough to open up a shop that can offer everyone who visits The Linton Kitchen a small slice of this wonderful environment I grew up in. A place where people meet old friends and make new ones, talk, laugh, cry and make happy memories.” Gemma, Owner. Jam-packed with local foodie treasures, and bursting with charm, we are open seven days a week and offer light lunches, thoughtfully sourced tea and coffee and the all-important homemade cake. They use local ingredients, including seasonal organic fruit and veg where possible resulting in simple, honest and tasty food.

They make a range of breads each day, both sourdough & yeasted. Some loaves are made every day, others might make an appearance weekly, others still are seasonal specials...

“a corner of England where time stands still as the outside world rushes by” Immortalised in Rupert Brooke’s poem The Old Vicarage, Grantchester: “And is there honey still for tea?” The answer is yes, served with our Afternoon Teas and, of course, our remarkable homemade scones served with cream and jam (or jam and cream if you prefer)

The Three Hills is a charming dog-friendly country pub with an award winning restaurant. This delightful 17th Century Grade II listed building is located in the heart of Bartlow, and is the only remaining pub and community facility in a small village of only 110 residents. Originally opened as an alehouse in 1847, The Three Hills is named after the three hills or Tumuli, ancient burial mounds originally part of a seven mound group which are considered to be the largest in Europe.
