Oaxaca has many traditional drinks and snacks. This place is one of the most popular places to buy them. If you are daring to try new flavors, I recommend you the Chilacayota water. Also, there is a traditional snack (to name it someway) called "Piedrazo". Is an stale and dry bread with vinegar, carrots, quesillo and some spicy. I know it may sound grouse, but, we love it!

There are many "nieve" (ice-cream) stands in this place. From our experience, this is the best one. The traditional nieve is "Leche quemada con tuna", but they have many tasty flavours.
Once you are there, we recommend you to try the traditional sweets. You'll find them next to the church's entrance.
