This is a great free place to walk around. Lots of nice shopping and eating. Very large free parking garages are on site. Nights are super crowded, we stick to daytime visits. It is very spread out and there is lots of walking. One end (opposite the huge circus tent) is more kid "Disney" focused, but I would suggest to visit both ends as it is very interesting and the setting is beautiful. There are so many different things to see here, allow many hours to stroll around. The sit down restaurants will have waits--it is best to grab reservations ahead of time on the Disney experience app. At night you will catch some fun things such as the living statues and live music around every corner. Our favorites are Morimoto, the Dinosaur dig area inside of TRex, and the Lego Store, and so much more!!

Be sure to walk down the cute Main Street and if it is a nice warm day, you may want to wear water clothing/suits as your kids will want to play in the fountains. Lots of treats, fresh produce, and lunch food truck offerings are available. Only open Saturdays 7am-1pm

Very large lake in downtown Orlando with a walking trail all around it. You will pass a playground, gardens, rentals for swan paddle boats, and lots of nice city views. On Sundays from 10-4pm you will find a Farmer’s Market.

Paradise right by our house! The community center in our neighborhood has a sand bottom playground (bring sand toys), gym, tennis courts, little walking path around the pool, pool, water slide, and lazy river. The water slide and lazy river are usually open 11-4 daily but check the hours when you get there. There is a snack bar there as well. You will receive an email with a code for access. It is a .2 walk from our house. Super fun!!

Nice playground and splash park with beautiful views of Orlando and the lake.
Bring swimsuits for the splash park. The splash zone is closed every day from 2-3. If you are the only ones there you will have to turn on the water by pushing the buttons on the tops of the blue posts inside of the splash park, but they will not work between 2-3. They may charge $1/kid during peak times but we have never even seen a person in the booth when we go in the winter. The beautiful playground is next to a sand volleyball court.

If you have a hands on science pass you can visit here for free. It is a really awesome science center, my favorite that we have ever visited. Don't miss the little kid town area, but there is so much to do for all ages.

Calling all American Girl Lovers! This store does have a small bistro and hair salon, but check their hours for the bistro--it is not always open. Right outside of the store is a small play area.

Nature
This is a great nature walking place. It is filled with wildlife. Free for everything--they have a nice indoor nature center and tons of walking trails. We have seen tons of gators, Eagle nests, snakes, and even wild hogs! You are almost guaranteed to see alligators here--you must be on your guard and do not let children run ahead or go near the water banks!

This is our favorite beach to visit the Atlantic Ocean. It's an easy drive, not much traffic, completely free. Has a bathhouse and outdoor rinse area. Beautiful pathways to the beach!
