Some of the best food in the area. Tons of waterfront seating outside and live music every night. This is the place we're at most often! Boat parking.

This is where everyone heads to watch the sunsets on the docks. Even if you don't eat here, make sure you catch at least one sunset from this spot during your stay. Bring your camera! This is where I took the photo on the cover of my guidebook.

This is the restaurant with the best parking. They now have outdoor seating and plenty of tables. Very cozy and serve breakfast on Sundays but call before you go because I'm not sure this is year round.

This is in my top three for best food in the area. Relaxing backwater outdoor seating available. If you come at the right time you might get to watch them feed the giant pelicans fish from the back deck.

This is one of my favorite places to grab a beer and some barbecue! Very casual with some semi outdoor seating. Giants salads and big portions. The heavenly smells from the smoker will probably greet you before you catch sight of it on the way there!

This bicycle rental place is right across the street within walking distance of the property. You can hop right on the trail that runs the length of the Island from here.

This is by far the most beautiful beach in the vicinity. Take a sunny and informative 50 minute ferry ride over and spend the day. Cayo Costa is a neighboring barrier island with no vehicles only accessible by boat. Ask me for the link to tickets when you book.

Boca grande is another one of my favorite uncrowded beaches with gorgeous views. It's a great day trip from the cottage with plenty of beachfront and great places to stop and have a drink or lunch right on the beach.
