This restaurant is not downtown, but one of our favorites with great food for everyone and very friendly owners and staff. If you are looking to avoid the parking and crowds of downtown this is a good place for you, however there are not many other attractions nearby.

Sweet potato tots are amazing! Chill hangout spot, cheap prices and frequent live music. Visit the rest of West village afterwards which is a great art and foodie scene.

Hangout/Food/Sightsee
This is the staple of downtown Greenville. Take a walk over the iconic Liberty bridge which looks over the waterfall and mosey around the rest of the easy, paved trails throughout the gardens and along the river.

Cool area to take dogs and kids or go without! There is Axe throwing, a taco restaurant and Birds Fly South Brewery. It is also fairly close to the Swamp Rabbit Trail so you could get off the trail and ride up to this area. Make sure you have your GPS though, it is not directly off the trail.

This is a paved ~30mile biking/walking path. There are many points to get on the trail. The closest to our AirBnb are at the Cancer park/Next Building and at Kroc center. There are places you can rent bikes or bring your own. We love to bike up to Travelers Rest ~8miles have lunch/drinks then bike back down to Greenville. You will pass by Furman University and The Commons(see other recommendation), and a few other restaurants/attractions. Otherwise mostly wooded scenery.

This is a great new place in Greenville made up of restaurants and establishments in shipping containers with a common gathering area. Both covered and non-covered areas available with fans for the summer and heaters/fire pits in the cooler months. Check their social media for live music schedules.

Great outdoor area with lots of picnic tables. Live bands are frequently playing on the weekends for a lovely vibe for drinks, food and hanging out. Conveniently located right along the swamp rabbit trail.
