We wade through waist-deep water pool, traverse ravines and canyons. Jump into plunge pool, swim through a crevasse at the base and into the cavernous rock shelter.

Inambakan Falls offers a demanding 4-level steep hike. “Ambak” means jump. At level 4 cascade is a rock formation I call “The Throne” at its base. To get there, you need to swim against the current all the way to the base of the rock. The rushing water drop can be very exhausting. Secure grip on that rock or be washed away. Climb up the throne, take a seat and pose for an “I made it!” photo.
