If you’re looking for a great place to spend the day or visit the bay, this is the place to go? There is a grassed area with bbq’s & a toilet block, before you cross the bridge to one of the worlds whitest sandy beaches. There is also a wonderful walk from here along the headland, across Chinnamans Beach, & through the coastal bush leading to the infamous Hyams Beach & if you are ready for a coffee or eats by now, pop into Hyams Beachside Cafe!

An easy walk from Plantation Point, Vincentia through to Hyams Beach. This walk is a great introduction to the area and probably the easiest as it is suitable for anyone 8 to 80 and is stroller and wheelchair friendly!. This walk mixes cliff top views, bushland & delightful spots such Bleinheim Beach and sweeping bay views. Length – Approximately 2.5km in total but can broken into 500m – 900m sections. Start – Plantation Point, Vincentia (off Elizabeth Drive via Plantation Pt Pde), or you can start at Blenheim or Greenfields Beach depending on how you’re feeling on the day! The first section is along grassland and a formed track and boardwalk of 900 metres that leads to Blenheim Beach. There are some unfenced sections along the southern length of Nelson Beach, beware of the drop if you have young children. There is a lookout at Blenheim Beach along with BBQ’s showers and toilets. Continue along the path which has sublime views through towering gums to Bowen Island. Rounding the headland Greenfields Beach appears. Greenfields is one of the jewels in the bay – a wide expanse of white sand fringed by tall gums and crystal clear waters. A delightful BBQ area with toilets and shelter is located at the southern end, as is a carpark if a pickup is required. Passing over the creek the track continues through the bush for another 500m or so and descends to the fine sands of Chinamans Beach. At the end of the beach is the village of Hyams Beach itself, where you can grab breakfast, brunch, lunch & great coffee at Hyams Beach Cafe, before you head back!
